Throughout the day we serve it up Moroccan style...
Along with plenty of fresh dates, figs and our own "Humphrey Bogarts" (Moroccan Mint tea and lemonade), you'll also find complimentary snacks and other beverages always available in the Kasbah Lounge and Library.
Desert Hot Springs is known for its’ hot springs mineral water - and it's pure drinking water... voted among the best drinking water in the entire world! Alas...one cannot not live by water alone...so we've come up with a list of our favorite local restaurants!
We also pride ourselves in knowing about most of the restaurants throughout the Coachella valley-and while one or two may have gotten past us...we are pretty good sleuths at hunting them down and giving them a try. If they're great, you'll find us talking about them at our nightly happy hour!

The Capri - Italian Restaurant and Steakhouse
This outstanding restaurant is owned by the Santucci family and has melt-in-your-mouth Italian favorites, not to mention about the best steaks you'll ever have. (No kidding!). Located just 6 blocks from the El Morocco Inn & Spa, we're more than happy to make reservations for our guests...it's always a sell out. When you go, ask for the "Man-can"...it's their Manicotti and Cannelloni special-not even on the menu. They'll know we sent ya!
South of the Border - Mexican
A genuine retired Matador owns and runs this terrific Mexican restaurant. one of the very best in the entire Palm Springs Valley. The El Morocco is located on 4th Street and this amazing place is over on 2nd Street, just a few blocks away. Try their house specialty, the spinach enchiladas...yummy! Open for lunch too!
Thai Palms Restaurant
They may not have a website, but you can't beat this little restaurant for healthy, fresh and tastily prepared dishes. Great for those who love rich flavors and "fresh from the garden" vegetables. This restaurant occupies the corner of Palm Drive and Buena Vista, so it's just 6 blocks from the inn!
Korea Restaurant
Small but mighty, this restaurant garnered 5 Stars in the New York Times! If you love authentic, perfectly prepared food, this is the place! The building is a little white box that houses the best in epicurean delights! On Palm and Ironwood, this restaurant is 5 minutes from our front door!
Rocky's New York Pizza
Only the best Pizza, bar none, in the valley! Have them deliver and enjoy your pizza poolside!
